One Man To Unite Them All

By Uthman Lateef. The Return of Jesus (‘Isa) (peace be upon him) is a major sign before the end of time. In this lecture delivered at the End of Times conference by Noor Pro, Uthman Lateef draws particular attention to the falsehood associated with the great Prophet and Messenger, and how his Second Coming will set matters straight for those who go astray by rejecting as well as worshipping him. Uthman Lateef further highlights smaller signs before the end of time that herald his great coming, and notes the terrifying tribulation of the Dajjal (antichrist) and the role he will play upon the descent of Jesus (peace be upon him).

Defenders Of The Faith

By: Ali Al-Timimi (May Allah hasten his release....ameen)

''Neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it'' 49:12

Backbiting the scholars is severer than backbiting other than them. That is because the scholars are the INHERITORS OF THE PROPHETS. If he backbites them, then he has backbitten the inheritors of the prophets, (backbiting the scholar is severer than backbiting someone who is not a scholar)

Heroes of Islam

By Zahir Mahmood. Muslims have no need to look for fictional or mythical heroes, because their history is abundant with heroes of real flesh and blood. This lecture presents glimpses of the lives of a few Muslim heroes and hopes to inspire us to follow the examples they have set us

In the Footsteps of Ahlul Bayt

MMU Isoc and Al-Kauthar: Bilal Ismaa'eel - In the Footsteps of Ahlul Bayt. The Ahlel Bayt were never Shia, but rather were always part of the mainstream Islam. How could the Ahlel Bayt be Shia when Allah said in the Quran: “…and be not amongst those who join gods with Allah, those who split up their Religion, and become shias (sects) - each party rejoicing in that which is with itself.” (Quran, 30:31-32)

Let's Be Healthy

By Sh. Yassir Fazaga. From an Islamic perspective health is viewed as one of the greatest blessings that God has bestowed on mankind. It should be noted that the greatest blessing after belief is health, as narrated in the following Hadith: The final messenger of God, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) mounted the pulpit, then wept and said, "Ask Allah (swt) for forgiveness and health, for after being granted certainty, one is given nothing better than health." The Role of Muslim Women in the West

By Shaykh Haitham al Haddad. Women make up half of society and they are responsible for the nurturing, guidance and reformation of the subsequent generations of men and women. It is the female who imbues principles and faith into the souls of the nation. Allah, exalted be He, created Adam from clay and Eve from Adam, and mankind came from both of them: {O mankind! Fear your Guardian Lord, who created you from a single person, created out of it, his mate, and from them twain scattered (like seeds) countless men and women;} (Surat Al-Nisa (4), ayah 1). {It is He Who created you from a single person, and made his mate of like nature, in order that he might dwell with her (in love).}(Surat Al-A'raf (7), ayah 189).

Remaining Steadfast in Times of Fitnah

By Dr Khalid Khan. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Allaah will keep firm those who believe, with the word that stands firm in this world and in the Hereafter. And Allaah will cause to go astray those who are zaalimoon (polytheists and wrong-doers, etc.), and Allaah does what He wills.” [Ibraaheem 14:27]. Qutaadah said: “As for the life of this world, Allaah will help them to be steadfast in doing good and righteous deeds, and in the Hereafter (He will help them) to remain steadfast in the grave.” A similar interpretation was narrated from more than one of the Salaf. (Tafseer al-Qur’aan al-‘Azeem by Ibn Katheer, 3/421).
